Top UK School Bans Teachers From Calling Pupils “Girls” (In Case It Offends Transgender Students)

For more than a century, a top all-girls school based in the UK has educated generations of girls. Yes you read that correctly… GIRLS! Actual girls with vaginas, and not the kind of vaginas that are gender confused or surgically altered either.

But one of the UK’s top-performing state schools has baffled and angered cis-parents by informing them its teaching staff will in future use “gender-neutral language” when talking to or about its students.

Altrincham Grammar School for Girls in Manchester fears that using the dreaded “g-word” could result in pupils who are changing sex, being “misgendered” by teachers. Pupils will be instead giving the politically correct and all round gender neutral term “students”.

So much for the preservation of the sexes, right!?

Ironically, despite the ban, the 1,350-pupil school has no plans to drop the term from its name. We guess that Altrincham Grammar School for Non-Binaries hasn’t quite got the same ring to it!?

In a letter to concerned parents, Principal Stephanie Gill, who we are making no assumptions at this point if they identity as a male, female or a pansexual multi-coloured neon zebra for fear of offending anyone, said the rethink came in response to “the challenges facing our students who are questioning their gender identity or who do not identify as girls”.

Despite the fact the school does not admit boys (well, boys who are born with penises anyway) she added that parents “may have noticed that we have moved to using gender neutral language in all our communications with students and parents”.

She added: “We are working to break ingrained habits in the way we speak to and about students, particularly referring to them collectively as ‘girls’.”

The letter goes on to say that “for many transgender students being misgendered can be very hurtful”, and undermines efforts to demonstrate that “everyone is welcome” at the school.

“Staff have embraced these changes and are doing their best to implement this new policy.” she concluded.

Harry Potter was schooled at Hogwarts because he was a cis-gender wizard. Rydell High School was attended by horny heterosexual teenagers in Grease, and Altrincham Grammar School for Girls is frequented by… non-binary gender fluid students… with skirts and periods!

Happy non-confirming schooling everyone!
